VISUAL IDENTITY, PACKAGING DESIGN, CREATIVE DIRECTION, photography AND FASHION DESIGN, TIKET, 2025.

TIKET is aN Israeli haute couture brand born from the unlikely fusion of Balenciaga and Egged, Israel’s national public bus company. Drawing on Balenciaga’s conceptual, oversized aesthetic—particularly as shaped by Demna Gvasalia over the past decade—and Egged’s utilitarian, everyday design language, TIKET explores the intersection between couture and public transportation. Its visual and material world engages with themes of liminality, transience, and accessibility in fashion—reimagining Israeli anti-style as seen on the bus, and asking what happens when fashion steps into the public sphere.
The graphic identity of the project references familiar transit visuals: a product label based on the iconic Israeli bus stop sign grid; a synthetic shopping bag pressed to create a trompe-l'œil effect that mimics the crinkled texture of plastic bags; and a show invitation composed of jingling keychains and metal shackles, complete with a postcard and a branded "Rav-Kav" inspired travel card.
Alongside the visual system, a full garment was designed—an homage to one of the most iconic figures on the Israeli bus: the grandmother. The look reinterprets granny chic through a postmodern, Balenciaga-inspired lens, featuring a padded-shoulder cotton midi dress cinched with a seatbelt-style harness, a shopping trolley with a shiny yellow frame reminiscent of bus handrails, and a matching bag reimagined in luxurious Italian wool.
