VISUAL IDENTITY AND PACKAGING DESIGN FOR NINET TAYEB, "COMMUNICATIVE", 2023.

"COMMUNICATIVE" is a 2009 studio album from israeli singer-songwriter Ninet Tayeb that marks a shift toward a more personal and independent artistic direction and a retro, alt-rock sound. Drawing from the album’s raw, eclectic, and handcrafted feel, a grainy, collage-based visual approach was chosen to echo its sonic texture.
The cover image was sourced from the first publication of "Pizmon LeYakinton" (Hymn to the Hyacinth) by poet Lea Goldberg—a poem that was sampled in one of the album’s tracks, "Yakinton." Additional imagery was sourced from various Israeli photography magazines from the 1960s and 1970s from the designer's own collection, reflecting both the local cultural roots of Tayeb’s music and its retro-inspired sound.
The project received recognition from Tayeb herself.
